Paella y Pasion

Paella, a dish originally from Valencia, Spain, is among the best-known dishes in Spanish cuisine and culture. Traditionally made with rice, saffron, meat and shellfish, garlic, onions, peas, tomatoes and other vegetables, it is named for the wide, shallow pan in which it is cooked. Flamenco Fever’s Paella y Pasion translates into English as “paella and passion,” appropriate because this well-loved and much anticipated opening event of the organization’s Oak Cliff Flamenco Festival is characterized by ample amounts of delicious, unforgettable paella made by local chefs and passionate flamenco performances from local artists and international flamenco stars.
