that brings the dance and music community by forging partnerships amongst the participating groups. Through cross promotion and education, all involved receive the benefits of evolving their personal art skills and fan base by sharing their expertise in the corresponding field.
These incredible Fusion Concerts challenge and stimulate not only the ticket holder, but also the artists. Alcantara Arts wants to expand its audience with this fusion concept. The fusion series has combined flamenco, Latin, Tango, Contemporary, Arabic, East Indian dance, and live music in various productions over the last four years. Not only do the artists learn how their area of focus is related to the other's dance and music, but the audience is continually amazed at the inherent game of compare and contrast that occurs.

Our FUSION SERIES shows take a dance and music concert beyond entertainment with a surprising educational element. Accordingly, Alcantara Arts’ productions explore how the art forms were derived, their history, and places where their paths crossed overtime to influence each other.
Further, the cross promotions between music and dance groups exponentially grow the audience for both dance companies and the corresponding musical groups.
